Ok guys it’s, a BIOS Problem, a student of mine at NIIT Ghana brought me a laptop, which he formatted with Windows 8 and his not able to install some softwares after the format – I taught for a while and told him to go for a BIOS Update.
Unluckily for him, he came the next class day, saying;
“Sir, i updated and now my PC cannot boot across the BIOS anymore, when i press the power button, it loads the BIOS and shutdown.”
Meanwhile the Windows 8 installation is still intact on the system. And here is how i figured it out;

Go into the BIOS Setup settings and follow the steps below;
Step 1 – Go to Boot tab
Step 2 – Disable secure boot
Step 3 – Go to OS mode Selection
Step 4 – Select [CMS OS]
Step 5 – Save changes and exit
Your PC should be back!
